 The answer is: To do the same things you have always done , the same way you have always done them , and expect different results.

If we done bite the bullit and make hard changes, then when??? And if we dont do them because we are scared, then why would we ever do it??? What will be the changing factor???

If you owned the Vols, would you allow these results????

I am looking forward to you answers!!!

Funny thing to me: every year that we are "rebuilding," we do great. Then, when we are talking about National Championships in the preseason, we collapse. Check out '98. Remember? Seems like we lost the greatest QB of all time before that season. Doomed, right? Nope, Championship. Last year: two freshmen QB's, a young, inexperienced defense. . . .what happened? Ran the table, beating Florida, Georgia, and Alabama, and only lost to a "shoulda-been" National champ Auburn who was stacked with NFL talent.

Check the other recent years and do the math: it just doesn't add up. So, if you really want to talk about "crazy," just say "Tennessee Football" and that will about sum it up.

Yes it is. Yes it is. And, this year, we got one of those ones with the crappy toxic fruit-gel filling, didn't we?

I couldn't agree more with your question, it's motto l live by.

but, to answer your question, if it were me and me alone, i would do the following:

Hire John Gruden as HC
Hire Norm Chow as OC
Leave Chavis where he is
Hire Frank Beamer as Special Teams Coach
re hire Mike Berry as OL coach
re hire Kippy Brown as WR coach

Everyone else i would leave alone...if there are any bad coaches left, they'd have to get better with a staff like that, right?

Of course this dream team would equate to me winning the lottery, so i'll just leave this in the "cocktails and dreams" category...
