Defesive backfield Problems

No wonder why we are having so many problems in our secondary. Look at how many players we lost.

Ahmad Dixon
Mike Edwards
Janzen Jackson
Ted Meline ( converted WR)
Pat Martin
Izuea Lanier
Brian Randolph (Out for the Season)
Tino Thomas (Out for the Season)

Don't you think that all these guys could have helped contribute to our backfield. We arn't excatly scraping the bottom of the barrell here but surley someone should be able to help out back there somewhere. We have to much talent to be that bad back there I don't know what is going on.

I don't think Janzen would have impacted this season at all. I think the only person on your list that we obviously have been missing is Randolph.

Is it me.or is this one of the slowest defensive backfields Tennessee has had.Go VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder why the abundance of talent at WR hasn't been tried at DB. The big difference between DB and WR is often the ability to actually catch the ball and an interception or so wouldn't be such a bad thing. Most of 'em played both ways in high school anyway.

I think Dixon is a little over hyped.Every time i watch Baylor he gets torched.Just my opinion.

What is the possibility that having separate CB and Safety position coaches contribute to the communication issues we've had all season? Is this a situation where 1 > 2 ?
