Defense wins championships.

After watching Sec ball today only one team has a championship D Georgia. Alabama looks lost even though Ole Miss has the next Johnny Mansiel. Tennessee D is just busting coverages that is keeping them from being top D behind Ga but by year end who knows. So let's hang in there Vol Fans there is still so much ahead of us.

Our defensive play is the only ray of sunshine in the xxxxshow we saw in Athens today. I can't recall the wheels coming off so completely by a Vol team in the 2nd half. ( I recall the beatdown by Dooley's squad in the 2nd half by Chip Kelly's Oregon crew as the worst). Our defense being worn down and defending turnovers on their own end of the field multiple times explains how they came apart, but the biggest explanation of what occurred is our bad QB play and it in turn produced no confidence from our OL.

I think you can go ahead and name Clemson National champions in all honesty. The most balanced team by far in the country.

As good as we played up front if we don't bust few plays would have kept this game closer. Shame they had to play so many minutes and plays.
