I am trying to separate out the brights spots in our D. Please help me...

Good
Sentimore seems to be trying
Maggs ran down a running back from behind
Oneil...even though he got run over by a small quarterback, he does stick his nose in there

Bad
Poor ole Herman just can't run. Not sure Propst would be any better?
AJ...it is called a delay draw...geez
McCullers stuffs the middle but sooooo slow
Couch....is he even out there any more? One of the biggest disappointments of the whole group

Ugly
Jacques just checked out when Lane left
Coleman...find seat on bench
Teague. Sorry man, we should have kept you in the slot
Brewer...I had high hopes. Obviously the coaches got you thinking too much
Miller...you better than this
P Wag - lost the swag?

Gray...hang in there. You ain't ready yet but you can be good next year
Hood...you about what I expected
Saulsberry...I never expected much from you, so you are exceeding my expectation
Willie B - so so

Who am I forgetting? Please forgive my misspellings and typos. I'm on this new iPad that I bought from Deion

well , uniform cleaning doesn't require as much grass stain remover... keeping costs down in a recession.

No-way that should be ever refered to as "Defense...more like
Whupense. They shouldn't be able to sit down for a day or two after today's game.

Who of that bunch gets drafted?

They are really really really badly coached.

Just a basic handoff gets you eight yards...it is unreal!

AJ johnson and Maggit are 1st round caliber players. Sentimore and McCullers will play in the NFL. We just have flat out bad coaching.

When a slow secondary can't cover/recover, why does Sal stay with 3 up front? They cannot get pressure and qbs have all day to look for receivers. Since there is not much hope for the dbacks, why don't we just blitz the corners on every play and take our chances? Could the results be any worse?

Some teams rely on average coaching but athleticism over compensates.

Dooley and Sunser have coached our athletes retarded so bad their athleticism is none existent!

Basic 4-3 would have pinched the middle better. On a different note we can't take anything away from that one receiver Troy has. He caught everything tossed his way.

Watching on tv, so hard to tell for sure. But it looks to me like our base defense for today was a 4-2-5. We put six in the box. Played a lot of man to man with the corners and nickleback. And the two safeties sat deep to try to prevent the big play.

Sort of a slow prevent type thing to limit those huge plays......(which we still gave up....lol)

I think they are trying to simplify it so we at least have someone somewhat close to al the receivers.

Sal is doing the same thing to the bama 3-4 defense, that clawson did to the clawfense in 2008....trying to dumb it down enough to just do a few things and keep it simple.

We were there... pretty much 3-4 most of the time; some stunts, but they were guessing on those, and watching us torched for 721 yards, we might as well call it what it was, they didn't guess well. Some kind of QB pressure or we're really going to get beat. No question about our secondary... it's bad, bad.

I didn't (or couldn't) watch all of the game, but I saw us in a 4-man front a lot. Even the TV announcers stated that we were playing with 4 up front most of the game.

Wilcox, Monte or Chavis would have this defense playing at a much higher level, and any would allow the Vols to be competitive on defense.

Think there are a few high school coaches that can get more out of this D

AJ is the only thing I enjoy when watching this defense. The whole defense is at fault for all the draws.
