It seems as if every team the Vols play, can beat the Vols on deep balls down the field, the DB's continue to get beat deep game after game
You can bet Kiffin will exploit the weekness

A former strong safety in HS football, Outside LB in college told me especially on sideline and end zone plays he watched their hands, when he saw their hands start the catch motion he looked/went for the ball.

I played safety. You can also tell most times by their eyes/expression.

Our game plan for defending the fade rout is to throw your hands wildly in the air, never look back for the ball and hope to God you don't touch the WR.

Sounds right to me lol! Let's go with that.

The only problem with that is our guys are always trying to stay with faster wide recievers and if they do get close they grab the jersey. Most wide receivers run a 4.4 in this league. Our defensive backs apparently only run a 4.8 if you factor in they have to think about what their doing instead of just playing.

Bad technique makes fast players look slow because they start late. We have defensive backs that can run & hit. They just need better coaching in regards to playing pass defense. Saban coaches his corners directly. Shows on Saturdays.
