We lost. I was more emotionally invested in that game than I have been in any UT game in a long time. I’m sure many of you felt the same way. This just feels how it was supposed to go down. With our fans looking like trash, and lane being able to somehow walk out looking classy while beating us. I should have known this was what would happen. We got screwed on two huge calls, which were literally why we lost. I’m speechless. This one literally hurts more than any I can remember ever.

We never took advantage when we had the opportunities. Tim banks is gonna have to figure out a game plan for mobile QBs. Offensive ineptitude in the first hurt us badly we well. They have killed ya this year with all our losses. This one hurts, but I honestly expected it. The 4th and 25 was not a first down. It was close but it was we short. Don’t get in a 4th and 25 and it’s not an issue. Gonna be a rough 4 weeks for this football fanbase.

The spot at the end was correct, I think. The fumble TD being wiped off was atrocious.

The spot was not correct. His knee is where they marked him down, and the ball was in his gut as he fell forward.

The last call on the spot was correct. The scoop 7 was not. IMO.

Regardless, we could have won anyway.

Honestly. If I was UT I would just say our record was 5-2. Go ahead and act like that TD counted because there was no reason for it not to.

I’d say holding ole miss to 31 is very good. Corral is a future NFL qb. He’s elusive and can hurt you with his arm. I’m not blaming any of this on our defense.

Yep I still don’t understand what happened with that play. The ref closest to Corral never blew the whistle and ran the length of the field with Baron. Then they huddle and say his forward progress was stopped? How he was being tackled and fumbled in the process.

It was a great game. This team is a lot better than we thought they would be. No reason to feel defeated. We literally fight every second, regardless of the score.

This was bad bad... I got into a huge argument when this happened.. there was zero reason to not give us a TD... just because he stopped playing ?? Who cares we didn’t stop

Football boils down to one or two big plays. We got the fumble TD taken away and a Hail Mary at the end of the game for the win was just a tad too high.
Regardless, we should be proud of the team, not how some of our fans acted and we all look bad because of it.

Kiffin was given every advantage and we still could have won it if the pass to Tillman was an inch lower. Given the fact that Kiffin had a QB advantage, is supposed to be the greatest offensive mind in all of college football according to our own fanbase, was riding the cock of the refs, and so on and so on, we still came within an inch of beating him. This is going to hurt more of us than bring joy to more of them, and it pains me to say that. But Heupel will overcome Kiffin in the long run. He is clearly the better man.

The spot was off by a half yard, but it was still short. You can piece the camera angles together. The knee hit when a trailing defender’s right foot plants and the ball was held near his belt… short of the line to make.
