I'm so thankful we didn't have cell phones back in my day. I used to drink, and was told I got dog drunk and was puking in the toilet at this girls house, then kissing the toilet and saying sorry to it. I hope it was made up, but I did come to myself in the bathtub, and was being washed up by her.

It took me a decade of hard drinking until I started blacking out. Some dude I met (his name was The Devil but I don't think he was THE Devil)told me that if alcohol doesn't make you black out when you consume large quantities, and you suddenly do start blacking out, that means the addiction has entered the first stage on the road to lethality. I didn't believe him because he's a catatonic schizophrenic who spends all day shooting dangerous drugs and watching a Joe Walsh DVD on repeat.

Second, I've drank myself to haziness many times, but only to black out once. Shooting Everclear for a drinking game turned out to be a bad idea. Who knew? (I did make it into double digits on shots before blacking out though.)
