OP. Could you update your list to include transfer destinations once official, so it will be clear which players have officially moved on and which ones are looking?

He’s enrolled in classes yes. Don’t know if this means he’s staying but yes he’s on campus in classes
Is he on campus? Asking not arguing, I had it in my head that it’d been implied he’s taking online classes from home in California.

um, err, this isn't great

However, several haven't committed to leave and some were 6th year players (i.e. JG) so this isn't that deep with difference-makers - Volunteers wanted, not hostages.

meh

Has Jahmir Johnson said one way or another if he's leaving? I know he entered the portal, but there was talk he'd withdraw and come back. It would be nice to get him, TooToo, and Crouch to come back.

I read somewhere that he could potentially enter the NFL draft based on the fact he was training at a Draft prep camp. Not 100% just something i've read.

I've been wondering what the kids who haven't transferred to a different school yet plan to do. It seems like they'd have to wait to transfer until after Spring practice, so I hope it's a good sign that they come back.

Every year we can sign 25 however ther overall scholarship number is 85. We have to have attrition every year to sign full 25. We are making the transition list look worse by including walk ons and regular attrition players.
I count 8 players that we will really miss. Of those 8, 3 may be back.

Outgoing Offense:
QB- Jarrett Guarantano – SR - covid gives him another year
QB- Kasim Hill – Did not work out
QB- JT Shrout – will miss
OL- Wanya Morris- will miss
OL- Jahmir Johnson- will miss- may be back

OL- Jarious Abercrombie – did not work out
RB- Ty Chandler – SR – over crowed position - covid gives him another year
RB- Eric Gray – will miss
TE- Jordan Allen – did not work out
TE- Jackson Lowe – did not work out
WR- Brandon Johnson – over crowded position
WR- Isiah Montgomery – walk on

Outgoing Defense:
LB- Henry To'o To'o – will miss – may be back
LB- Deandre Johnson – will miss

LB- JJ Peterson- did not work out
LB- Kivon Bennett – kicked off team
LB- Quavaris Crouch – will miss -may be back
LB- Nyles Gaddy – walk on
DE- Savion Williams – did not work out
DE- Ethan Rinke – walk on
CB- Baylen Buchanan – injury - questionable that he can play
S- Key Lawrence – will miss

Did not want to start a new thread. This one looks close enough.

What transfers can this coaching staff get to improve the team for this upcoming year? We, on VN, seem to be putting next recruiting class as most important. It is however if we could get some game changers now it will go a long way to getting others.

Considering the ones that left or may be leaving I am not so sure they will be missed that much. We will pick up a few from the portal that even may be better plus fit the new system. Some young guys will finally get a chance to prove themselves and with some real coaching we may all be in for a really nice surprise.

We lost about 7 guys that I think we will miss .. hopefully our coaches can recognize some in the transfer Portal that fit the new style .. there are tons of guys in there .. and I think some are close to what we lost .. its just a matter of seeing if any interested .. and get 5 or 6 .. maybe 2 - OL , 2 - LB's , DB and a RB ...
