Just something to think about. Based on what has happened so far, it is likely that we have 5 (possibly 6) undefeated team at the end of the season.
1) USC (they play nobody except ND the rest of the way)
2) TEXAS (OK is not a threat this year so they are clear sailing)
3) Virgina Tech or Florida State (They have to beat Miami, which is down this year)
4) A SEC TEAM (If LSU. FLORIDA, UGA, or ALABAMA win out)
5) Louisville (See there laughable schedule)
6) Purdue (Again, look at there schedule)
Now, if this plays out...the BCS is dead. Why, because it is likely that for the second year in a row a SEC team would be undefeated in the best conference in the nation and not play for the title because you know Texas and USC are not going to drop to 3rd. So, you would have a BIG 10 team, ACC team, SEC team and a Big East team all left out and undefeated. So, of the 6 major conference ALL would have an undefeated team and only two would get a shot. Can you say PLAYOFF!!!If that does not kill the beast....nothing will.
