I am writing this here in hopes you will eventually see or hear about this.

I, like so many diehard Tennessee fans have had enough of a worn out football "coaching" program.

WE LOVE TENNESSEE FOOTBALL, but it is not what it once was.

Coach Phillip Fulmer had a few great years, but that is in the past. He has served his time but now is slowing down the progress of this football program.

From this day forward, I will not spend 1 red cent that will profit the University of Tennessee until Phillip Fulmer is removed from the Head Coach position or any other role at the University Of Tennessee.

YOU ARE OBLIGATED TO SERVE THE FANS. IF NOT FOR US, YOU WOULD NOT HAVE A SALARY.

WE DESERVE MORE. WE DEMAND BETTER.

Dear Mr. Hamilton - Look at the stands in the fourth quarter. Also, look who was in the stands Q1 through Q4. Bama won on and off the field.

Dear Blamie...

Just venting dude. I am so over it. Mike Hamilton has the power to change the direction by hiring a NEW head football coach. If he doesnt make a change, I say Mike Hamilton needs to be updating his resume.

I am tired of politics and athletic directors that dont deserve their position of authority.

Sorry dude...I'm drunk and a little angry...I'm right there with you...but after being on this board for 3+ years I know...unfortunately like most UT fans on this board...that "venting" serves almost NO purpose

You can look at the performance on the field all you want to and justify effort and talent. But there was very little difference in either team tonight. All the difference was in coaching and discipline.

But I really have to wonder just how far you are going to let Tennessee Football fall? This program does not belong to the same dedicated fans that came to games during the 1970's and 1980's. Those fans packed that stadium through dedication and enthusiasm to watch 4-7 and a 6-5 teams fight with pride. Those fans do not attend UT games any more.

The people who now own the tickets have to look at it as an investment due to the high donations required to get on the list. The new ticket holders find it very easy to sell the tickets and not feel bad about it at all. And I really can not blame them.

But when a visiting team has 30,000 to 35,000 fans sitting in your stadium you know that the pride is gone. I have never seen such apathy around the Tennessee program. When you consider how much maroon was in that stadium tonight and how far they had to drive to watch Fulmer coach, I think you should keep him as head coach. After all, 30,000 Alabama fans can't all be wrong.

Mr. Hamilton, with your exceptional leadership in our athletic department and the pyramid scheme that cares less about the orange blooded fans, I have figured in 2 years we will have a true neutral site stadium to watch college football right here in Knoxville. And in 4 years, we can just rename the university to The University of Alabama-Knoxville.
