... can you please come back and get our team pumped up for games?

I mean, I know he was a defensive tackle but this is what our O-line needs to be like in the locker room.

omg...can you imagine if we had a few guys like that on our oline now? I bet Al Wilson was like that too.

I believe Al's biggest thing was people knew he was the leader and would hold them accountable for their mistakes. We haven't had that type of special person in a long time.

Was it the Ark game in 98, or maybe I'm thinking of another game, where at half time Al Wilson was so mad he was throwing chairs around in the locker room? We came out in the second half and played much better and won the game.

For some reason, I'm thinking it was the SEC Championship game, but I could be wrong.

Al Wilson was a great leader. I still remember the Auburn game in '98 when he could not play because he hurt his shoulder. Coaches had to restrain him on the sideline. In that game Auburn had it 1st and goal on the one and UT denied them 4 times. I think they even caused AU to go backwards for a couple of yards.

Does John Henderson have any sons by any chance that are about old enough to play college ball? :p

Maybe kids today think being a leader isn't necessary? I don't see these type of guys at Tennessee anymore and wondering if it's just the change in times? Maybe they don't think it's cool to speak up.

I've seen that 100 times and it doesn't get any less scary. I might have shat myself if I was on the opposing OL...

One scary guy. Wouldn't you have loved to play with a guy like that though? You would have no excuses for not getting pumped before games.
