Chavis wasn't the reason Fulmer lost his job. He also isn't the reason LSU has had trouble scoring points under Miles. If anything, he has saved Miles' ass like he did Fulmer for awhile.

Hell, I'd give anything if UT was even in the game at the end to give it away to Bama instead of being blown out 3 years in a row and letting the Bama fans take over Neyland.

You saw this on display perfectly Saturday night down in Tiger stadium in Alabama's last drive. It hasn't changed and he is NOT the answer any more than CPF is going forward.

I wish more people would assign blame for the decline where it's due - Kiffin. If he had left us at a less inopportune time, the Dooley problem would have never happened. I honestly believe that the timing of our search had a great deal to do with its underwhelming outcome.

I guess you don't remember Chavis's prevent defenses that allowed blowout games to be close or close games to be lost. If you watched the last Bama series against LSU, you would have seen the exact same philosophy with the exact same result.

Kiffin is not the blame for our problems. It all goes to Fulmer and Mike Hamilton. Too satisfied to work hard and Hamilton giving unwarranted raises and extensions

Its not Chavis fault that Miles lost that game. Its annoying his mustang package, 3rd and Chavis, etc but he always had a top defense. Id take him over Monte Kiffin anyday. If Lanes dad wasn't Monte he would have retained him and Dooley would have 2 and this season would be 10-2 record. Sucks. Maybe the next HC will bring him back. Not many DCs are better.

Actually id be willing to bet we'd be undefeated with Chavis except the Bama game would be a toss up.
