That was the first thing I thought when I read Tubby was leaving. Tubby didn't even have a losing season and was asked to fire his assistants. I don't think Fulmer was asked to do anything after going 5-6 except not get a raise.

I don't think Fulmer was asked to do anything after going 5-6 except not get a raise.

But he did do something. He made major changes on his offensive staff. Also, behind closed doors, we don't know what was said between Mike Hamilton and Phil Fulmer. I don't think it is out of the realm of possibility that Mike Hamiliton discussed the issues of WR coaching and, you know Colonal Sanders was more than likely told he was gone, so he just stepped down. I will say that Fulmer took too long recognizing the weaknesses at WR and Sanders at OC, but at least he made changes when crap hit the fan.
