DW just sounds like he will be a college star...let that name roll of the tongue of Brent Mustberger...with the words...won the game for the Vols!:pepper:

That's funny because when I read his name last year I thought the same thing. Deangelo Willingham just sounds like a damn good football player

Really looking to see Berry, Mckenzie, Willingham, and Hefney as our starters, with Marsalous as the nickel and Parrish as the dime

I have no problem with Willingham playing at safety, but we have to be careful with how many new kids we get on the field at the same time. I feel like if some guys on here had their way we'd be playing with Vinson, Berry, Willingham, and McKenzie in the secondary all at the same time.

replace vinson with Hef and you have it.

Trial by fire is the best way.

ideally the best starting line up in the secondary would be
Berry cb
willingham cb
hefney s
McKenzie ss
that is if some of them would screw their heads on straight

I don't know if you think he is a DE or if you are recalling him moving to DE. Either way, next year he will be a LB.

I know he was a LB coming in and they switched him. If he isn't moved back to LB next year, that might be the single dumbest position switch I've seen.

Why do people say that?! Did Demetrice Morley know what he was doing? Did Antwan Stewart know what he was doing? Did Antonio Gaines know what he was doing?

Dont think so...and they all played but whatever...
Its because its true. He doesnt know the coverages yet. If he did he would be starting right now. Maybe the coaches realized its not a smart thing to play a person who doesnt know coverages even though the player has great physical ability like they did with D Mo.

You can't be a good DB if you don't know your coverages.

You people talking about McKenzie crack me up. You remember the busted coverage against So Miss that led to a WIDE OPEN TD for them. Ok, now however athletic McKenzie is, and no matter how hard he can lay the wood, imagine multiple busted coverages like that and that is what McKenzie cant play safety yet. But, if that is what you want to see then, yeah lets put him in there.

I though Berry was at safety during that play and he busted coverage over the top.

I believe he was trying to say that with McKenzie on the field, that kind of thing would happen a lot... not that McKenzie was on the field when it happened.

Marsalous Johnson was the one that gave up the long TD VS Southern Miss. Johnson bit on the short play and the receiver streaked past him. Berry tried to get over in time to clean up, but it was too late.

All the coaches have said that Berry was to blame there. He was supposed to be giving help over top and Johnson play the short zone.
