McDaniel and St. John’s College fell 35-20 to IMG Academy. The schedule doesn’t get any easier for McDaniel and his teammates. Next week they take on the number one ranked prep team in the country in Mater Dei High School.

McDaniel plays hard nosed against good offense. MD has the Young kid at QB. Really hope he changes his mind about Ala. Looks pretty good. Not throwing at our guy much.

Yes sir.....he help set up UGA defense for Kirby to come in and not miss a beat
I never thought of that. Pruitt and Smart run very similar defenses. Those guys were basically in their fourth year of that defense the year they turned it around and went to the NC game. Pruitt certainly has his fingerprints on the UGA resurgence.

St John's front 4 can't get it done. No pressure and Young has all day to throw.

Now their DL/RB weighs 285 but runs like he's 245. Just had a big run.

I have several UGA friends and they all said Pruitt set Kirby up for success...also said first 2 years Kirby still played several 3 stars Pruitt recruited and developed. They speak very highly of him.says we simply don't many descent Jones kids thst can help and Pruitt team is too young to judge. They think biggest problem with our defense is line and think he fixes thst issue with recruiting this year

Pruitt recruited them, but then Kirby developed. Deandre Baker was a 3* who was recruited by Pruitt, but Pruitt was only his coach for 1 year and he didn't start that year. Roquan Smith was also recruited by Pruitt, but again only had 1 year with Pruitt and didn't start that year.

Yea, but it's the evaluation. People start to question when you only bring in 3 stars at places like UGA and UT. There are multiple examples of this with Pruitt. He also recruited Jonathan Abram. Of course, he transferred to MSUm but he was a 3 star 1st round draft pick that Pruitt recruited.

That's true. Lot of star gazers get upset about 3*'s. 4-5*'s definitely have a higher success rate, but good teams have developed 3*'s on their roster as well.
