What ever happened to this kid? He was highly regarded as a FB out of Nashville, but hasn't had much success or seen the field much. UT needs a bruiser to clear holes in the running game. I see Holbert listed as a TE on the roster which means he's buried behind Brown and the Cottams.

I'm watching the replay of the '05 SC game on CSS and Holbert looks like a hoss.

On a side note Mayo looks like a sting bean on kickoff covereage.

No kidding. Well, do we have a solid lead blocker for the run game - a guy that will go out and lay a lick every play?

even before he got hurt, he hadn't been living up to his potential. he's not physical enough, and it seem like he's had an off the field problem a year or so ago.

ut didn't utliize the fullback position last year that much on offense. so i'd be surprised to see it used any this year too.
