When it comes down to it, it’s just the AD being cheap.

That’s why most of the boosters are threatening to back out. Feel like their money has been wasted.

He would do a great job here, with Tennessee’s resources. Don’t blame him for not wanting the stress of the ish storm in Knoxville right now. Good for him. Hope he has a nice close to a very esteemed career.

Figured he wouldnt come here.

Time to focus on Brohm, Tee, Norvel, Mack Brown, Strong, Sumlin or God forbid Lane Kiffin.

Currie has really put us in a hole.

Although I don’t want him either, it’s kind of sad when a former Vol, semi-legend, curmudgeon, doesn’t want our gig and instead wants to stay at Duke, where football dreams go to die.

Lovely.........

Just wondering why there have been zero leaks about the coaching search and now we get this. Is it because Currie didn’t actually reach out to anyone previously? Just trying to figure it out.

I cannot blame Cutcliffe, I honestly do not see this as a good fit anyways. He's older and enjoying his time at Duke. It'll take an energetic person to restore order at Tennessee.

I still remain adamant that Currie must be fired. This has been incredibly mishandled. It is funny that a lot of us were just starting to believe and have faith in Currie, and then he goes and does this crap with Haslam. It definitely shows Haslam pushed in a yes man. I'm sick of it. I hope Atlanta_Vol can fill us in on what other boosters are saying and going to do about this situation. I have no idea who to turn to other than Tee and Kiffin now.

He is comfortable finishing his career in mediocrity...wanted him, but we don't need someone who is content with average
