I have a BIG gut feeling

The we need a coach super fast is one of the reasons I say Cutcliffe

Plus his UT ties and his feet are past wet at Duke the new there has worn off!

No way it will be Cutcliffe. He wasnt even remotely interested last year. No different this year.

I don't see this happening but how about Cutcliffe, Kippy, and Garner as the DC. A reunion of the past.

we need someone with energy...kiffin brought energy with him the fan base was high again after being down you want to keep that going bringing in cut or phil would be horrible and demorolizing

We tried someone with energy!!! Worked out well didn't it

UT needs stability and somebody who cares about the school which Kiffin obviously did not. But Oh he had energy!!!

yeah he did the fan base was dying under phil...see bama-ut 2008 in neyland!!! or losing to wyoming!! or anytime phil went against urban we were crushed...I don't want to see that again...up and coming guys most of them are not going to be here 15 plus years those coaches now adays are gone get used to it

He took his name out of the running when Fulmer was fired last season. He blamed it on loyalty to his friend. Fulmer wasn't fired this year!!

Why would Cutcliffe come back? He had to take a year off from coaching because of his heart. There is no pressure in Durham to win football games. A little different story here. Plus this would just not be good. It would be taking too many steps back...

The only thing I like out of this thread is Garner as DC it would at least help in recruiting at least for next years class!

exactly...weather people want to believe it or not kiffin had ut going in the right direction with his 2nd straight top 10 class...get a guy with energy to build upon that

Unless Archie Manning has an illegitimate child I am not aware of who is lighting it up in high school, no thanks.

GOOD POST volsrock,...that whole energy, copy UGA black jersey, helicopter, rule breaking thing worked out great,...Kiffin = character ? BS! Can't believe people in Knoxville put up w/this crap as long as they did. What a joke.

Rumors are Cut is not even in the mix...???
I don't think that is who we need to overcome this whole mess right now, and save the kick asss recruiting class we have!!
