Sorry, I don’t keep up with the Zone much anymore. He!!, I’m surprised I remember my name on any given date because of work crap. @Behr, at some point, ima, ima, I do want to pick your brain on some things. In the early 60s, before the Braves came, Atlanta had an independent minor league team called the Crackers. A number of future major leaguers played for the Crackers. There was a huge magnolia tree at the edge of center field, and there were special rules for when a ball hit the tree.

calling someone a pud followed by extending an arm with cupped hand in the direction of their face while making a repeated popping sound with the lips rolled back over the teeth. maybe this was localized to my area in the late 70s/early 80s.
