Best year has had was a 'one-off' year at Northern Illinois in 2012 at 12-2...they lost to Iowa and needed 2OT to beat then ranked Kent State in the conference title game...more MACtion...only upside there is that the entire Offense roster was freshmen and sophomores.

best he has done since reaching NC St is this year at 8-4.

I honestly don't know anything about this guy. His offense. His defense. Has recruiting been his downfall. But who knows. He may come to UT and kill it. I'm just ready for our Vol family to heal.

I was just told that the Dave Doeren hire could be announced as early as tomorrow. What an f'ing cluster. The most maddening part about this is Currie was given a solid list of coaches to target, absorbed the information, and the whole search process was hijacked. Until Haslam, Manning, and Fulmer lose their influence, it's going to be a sh..show of epic proportion.

My question is why is Manning and Fulmer for that matter acting like this? Are they just to close of friends with Haslam? His Haslam just that cheap and bad at running program (like the Browns) or his he intentionally ruining program?
