Was interested in taking my son to the qb camp in Charlotte or
Nashville in next two weeks...has anyone here ever went or took a boy to one?? Its a 4-5 boy to coach ratio and very detailed instruction they say.!...not cheap, so was looking for some feedback....thanks and GO VOLS!!

I don't know a lot about his camps, but I do know Darin Slack a little bit. (He is employed by a very good friend for his day job.) Darin is a solid guy and was a good college QB. He has been doing these camps and teaching QB to youngsters for many years, so I am sure he does a good job. :)

I went to his camp before my junior and senior HS seasons. Completely changed me as a QB. I would definitely do it if I was you.

Heard from a good source kind of over rated. Was told if have a ton of money go for it won't hurt but there's better QB camps I've been told. Again this is third party.

Pretty sure the only camp my son would ever be going to if he were a QB would be the Manning Passing Camp! I mean come on SUPPORT OUR VOLS and pretty sure there is no better QB family!

There is a difference in being a great NFL QB and a teacher of the position. There aren't many school teachers that research cancer but they equip those that do.

I would send my kid to Webb (assuming Pennington still does a camp there) and Furman. Both do great camps.

Slack is a bit overhyped in my opinion. But if you have the extra dough to throw around, do all three.

I coached with Darren and coached his son a few years back. He really knows his stuff and has great understanding of a passing. I know he has pretty advance thinking as far as High School QBing. Like I said he knows his stuff.

What did they say was over rated about it? Don't mind spending the money ...just want to make sure I get money's worth
