Dooley must not have much confidence in us against UT-Martin... you'd think he'd atleast prove a point and suspend him that game

This is why I hate the off season. Kids do some dumb things. I hope he learned a lesson from this. It never ends well when alcohol is involved.

I am curious as to what our reaction would be if this was a rival team's player with the same situation.

One would hope there wouldn't be any reaction. These are essentially kids who are making poor decisions. It happens everywhere and is becoming a problem imho. I never applaud an arrest with a rival or anyone because these are bad judgment calls being made by a 18-22 yr old who might just mess his life up.

This. It is getting ridiculous, the way fans are talking about these 18 year old players on other teams. Even some 16 and 17 year old recruits. People must keep in mind that it is a game... I understand disliking a rivals team (I borderline hate Florida, Georgia, and Bama), but wishing ill will on other players is pretty messed up.

I love rivalries, and you're right. It's getting messed up that we (fans) look forward to an injury or an arrest to give us a leg up. I personally don't and it disgusts me. Again, my opinion, but I think a rivalry should be something where I see you in a bar and say Go Gators, you say F You go Vols and we pull up a chair, drink some beer and talk sports occasionally throwing in a F You toothless hillbilly Vol, and F You jort wearing redneck Gator.

I like the way you think, although not the way you cheer or dress (you jort wearing Gator).

Exactly... after all, we are all fans of the same sport. Where, or what, would we be doing right now without college football? Something more productive perhaps,... but certainly nothing that is as awesome as college football.:dance2:

Just messin back somewhat. The real trash talk comes one week a year. You guys are fun to talk to, and it's your house. I'd be a dumbazz if I came here and disrespected you in your house.
