Pruitt doesn't worry about the Stars, he knows that there is water above the Firmament

As excited as I am about Wright, Morris, and the new OL, it's not gonna be a quick process. I'd rather them sit and get the development they need than throw them to the wolves when they're not ready. I'm not saying they can't make a contribution but not everyone is a Trey Smith, 5 star or not.

But I do believe Morris will start

This all day. I would love to see Darnell and Wanya get into just the four games in 2019 that allow them to redshirt. All the while getting fed and coached up bu Fitz/Friend. Frosh rarely excel as SEC OL.

Rarely as in every season they do.

And those are STANDOUTS. Every year there’s a representative sample who man their positions at an average to above average level.

Mays only started because of an injury to the true starter. He was not a standout in the games he player, even though he played better than most of our Olinemen.

It’s what you do when you play that counts...not how you got there. He was better than options from two previous classes. And Freshman All-SEC AND ALL-AMERICAN says your opinion’s wrong on the “standout” part. If they’re healthy, Morris and Wright are better than the options we’ve thrown out for quite a while.

Correctomundo. We in recent years get boat raced by UF, UGA, and Bama who routinely start freshman on their OLs. You would think folks would know better than produce that thought in 2019.

The best thing to help them develop would be playing time. So long as they’re physically able we should throw them out there immediately. They can’t be any worse than the ones that were playing for us this past year

Playing time right away isn't always the best case but the last statement is 100% correct.

Tennessee’s luck with 5* players is less than stellar, unfortunately..... will this year be different?
I sure hope so
