Theres an old saying that the nignt is always the darkest before dawn, but it appeared mighty dark to me in Neyland Stadium yesterday afternoon. I have always been supportive of giving Pruitt time, but that yesterday was just a total beatdown. Missouri is not that good and Tennessee is not that bad. IMO 90% of that loss is on the coaches. That team was nowhere near ready for an SEC opponent. This teams confidence level is like a window pane and it dang sure don't take much to break it. The play JG got hurt on it appeared to me that Chandler went up behind an offensive lineman and just ignored the blitzing safety like he don't want to be a blocker. I cant pull against the Vols but if Vandy whoops them I for one wont be surprised. Most of this team don't know the privilege they have of playing for Tennessee. Rant over and Rocky Top and Happy Thanksgiving to all

Until the roster is overhauled, expect to be disappointed. Coaches can only do so much with what we have. Saban couldn't do any better with the current roster. Just reality. You can pour syrup on dogshit but that doesn't make it pancakes. Gonna have to recruit out of this mess.

Really......Lock is the worst QB we faced all year rising on the SEC QB board....We should have completely handed it to them on both LOSs. Pruitt and staff does not get it should be fired at the end of the season. (very blue font if you don't get it or understand)

Im just saying there is no reason to get smacked down like that. Especially on your home turf let alone senior day. I lay this at all the coaches feet.

Kind of fitting really.. the seniors going out like little bitches on senior day, why not? That’s how they have played since they got to rocky top... they may all be great people and I wish them well in life. Having said that I’ll be glad when they get the **** out of the Tennessee uniforms for good.

Actually, Missouri IS that good. Go read DG's takeaways. Mizzou may be the #3 team in the SEC. Definitely no worse than #2 in the East.

so if Miz is #2 in the east then Vandy must be #3 bcos they almost beat them. You are entitled to your opinion, mine is the coaches didn't have that team ready. To get beat is one thing, to get smacked in the mouth and have to like it is another.

I'm into this concept but still trying to figure out how long it takes to "overhaul" a roster. Pruitt speaks about recruiting "cycles." Is he saying three years from now they will start reflecting his coaching philosophy and ability? Because that's ridiculous. They need to be better sooner than that.
