is anybody else playing this? i really wasnt very interested in it, but picked it up a few weeks ago anyway. so far ive been very suprised and its probally my favorite game of 2011. atleast until Skyrim comes out :)

I played Demons Souls and loved it. My roomate is currently playing Dark Souls and he likes it a lot so far.

Nice, I'm just on my first time through. Just beat Ornstein and Smough. SL 103, I believe. Just been in the Darkroot Forest, co-oping with people against Sif and grinding souls! What's your gamertag?

did you have any problems with O&S? lol that is probally my most hated boss fight in the game, besides the 4 kings... yea i go there alot to invade people, its good for souls.. i think im SL 121 or so. my gamertag is swaffles23

Yes, O&S were brutal. I had no idea I could summon Soltaire to help me out until I had already beat them beat them and some dude online told me... I think I need to go to the New Londo Ruins or the Valley of the Drakes next. I'm trying my best to do this first playthrough blind, and it has been the most satisfying game experience I have had in years. Definitely Game of the Year. Wish more people had the patience to play it because it's really not that hard if you just take your time and stay alert. I appreciate a game not holding my hand.

yea you still have a few places left to go. new londo ruins is pretty fun, just make sure you have a cursed weapon or some transcient curses ready.. but yea thats the best way to play this game lol you will die alot but it feels so rewarding when you finally get through it. i really cant stop playing it

I still play from time to time. If anyone needs some equipment for a PVP guy, I can help you out. I have a few characters with every piece of equipment(slabs, armor, weapons, anything really).
