Da'Rick will have more TD's, catches, and yards. He will be the breakout offensive player of the year.

He's not even close to being a TE build.

That said, I do think he's our #1 this year.

When you have two receivers on the field at the same time that are as athletically gifted as these guys they will both be worthy of being double teamed but only one actually will be. Leading the other one, most likely Da Rick because of Justin Hunter's good year last year, to get single coverage and preform better statistically than the other. Regardless I can see them both having monster years especially if we have a sound running game to keep defense's guessing.

I think he will definitely have more catches and yards. However, I think Hunter will have more TDs because I think Rogers will be matched up with the #1 corner on the opposing team while Hunter beasts on the second corner especially in the red zone. Instead of someone trying to turn this into an argument, just sit back and think this is something great to discuss.

Da'Rick Rogers reminds me of Andre Johnson both in style and in body type. His touchdown catch in the bowl game looked just like stuff Johnson did in college. And Johnson did some kick returns at Miama* as well.

The Hunter/Moss analogies are apt.

The only person keeping Rogers from being Andre Johnson is Rogers. Johnson didn't have a "superstar" attitude and instead went out there and played the game. That was the knock on Rogers coming out of HS. Hopefully, he realizes his amazing potential and takes everything serious.

Note: I'm not saying he's not mature or isn't taking things seriously, so don't twist words.

Nah, just question a poster who thinks somebody with sprinter speed and a 215lb frame should be blocking on the edge and working the middle of the field

Wow, talk about taking something out of context. Rogers is physically imposing. He is definitely a TE in a WRs body, meaning he can take advantage of his physicality by going over the middle of the field or beating you deep.

cha ching ($). Hunter gets the deep ball TDs I'm thinking, and a lot of them.

I think its beginning to sink in that we have a HC who played wide receiver at Virginia and coached tight ends in the NFL, an assistant HC who coached wide receivers in the NFL, an O line coach with a track record of putting players in the NFL, a core of receivers extremely gifted physically in Rogers, Hunter, Clear, plus whomever ends up in the slot from an intriguing group of talented players and a California QB who no doubt can get the ball down the field, that we may have something a little bit different on O this year. And this doesn't even begin to talk about the running game.

Edit: I could go on with OC, O-line etc., but I just wanted to focus on the potential of the passing game.

I'm pretty excited to see what the offense does this year, it will be nice to see.
