So calm down. It will depend on DaRick if he wants to play. Remember this is a big year for CDD too. O would guess be back for UF. It's a suspension so back off of the ledge

I think the freakout came from the word "indefinitely." The majority of the time when a player (anywhere) is suspended indefinitely, he never comes back.

Here's to hoping Dooley is still figuring out what needs to happen.

I think Matt is right, but this is just one more addition to DR's list of issues. No matter how minor this is, is still a big deal. I'm hoping for a curfew violation, but expecting something much worse.

He'll be suspended for one game and back by your 2nd game tune-up in time for Florida.

Relax. Indefinite suspension means nothing in college football.

the rumor is failed drug test.

Apart from the rumored drug test (because I don't know), this post is spot on. Da'Rick will be playing vs Florida. Dooley isn't retarded.

Funny how people make guesses that it COULD be a failed drug test on VN, and that turns it into a rumor.

So Jimmy Hyams was right... hmm

Jimmy was about as right as that crazy aunt who knows her niece gets around. So every major holiday when they see eachother she tells her niece about a dream she had where the young lady was swimming with fish so she will be pregnant. Two years later the girl ends up pregnant and the aunt says "I told you so."
That is exactly what Jimmy did. Say it until it happens and then tell everyone that he called it.

Or course it's a failed drug test. 'Violation of team rules' is code for tested positive for smoking weed...idiot (Rogers I mean).

matt,

Any teeth to the rumor that this has been planned for months, stemming from things last season?

Im fumming right now hearing this news! We NEED him in the worst way if we want to compete. Don't anyone tell me we have depth beause in reality we don't! Yes we have bodies but not a lot of experience. CP has not played a down, Hunter still has not played much, Croom hasn't played a down, and others also. The only one other than Rogers is Zach with a lot of playing experince and thats not saying much. I really hope its nothing major!

Not this year.

That's true. I'm going out on a huge limb assuming he has the smallest amount of a backbone and testicles to kick him off the team.

Da'Rick must feel special knowing he has Dooley by the short hairs. Usually that is only reserved for opposing coaches.

Precious has his scapegoat.

Another candidate for dumbest post ever.

Seriously, do you really think that a coach with his job on the line is going to suspend one of his best players just so he can have a "scapegoat" before the season even starts? Get real.

Irrelevant. We're past that this year. It's put up or shut up time no matter who's on the field and CDD knows that.
