I do, but you seem to not care about proven scientific data. If you wish to disregard scientific data, you are the loser.

I ain’t sure what yer getting at, I don’t know what the scientific data is on a Star Is Born might be…I’m sure the first version was huge, my mother, rip, loved that movie, I was a kid, so I was like, “really, can’t we watch Gun Smoke or Andy Griffith, or Happy Days, or Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom?

The scientific data proves my mother liked Barbara Streisand and I leaned towards Donnie Fritts.

GBO!!!

Might think this is yet another covid debate in a politics or football forum, but it is in fact an argument regarding vol66’s opinion of the movie a star is born? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Not a huge fan of the movie however my wife and I watch it every time its on as my wife gets turned on by Bradley Cooper…….it’s a small price to pay and I’m not ashamed………

To each his/her own I reckon.
One of the things I dislike more than anything else is one who rants and raves about a subjects about which he/she has little knowledge, I reckon. You are correct about, to each his/her own.

Like Monty Python's flying circus apologizing profusely on behalf of the BBC, and just as absurdly, I would like to apologize on behalf of Volnation to those on this thread for the absurd argument in the above thread. I am the one who first used the term "A star is born" on an earlier post. Someone advised me not to see the movie. I reacted with an attempt at humor, saying "Movie? What movie?", and then, apparently, all hell broke loose. As I was just reading through it, I had mixed emotions of "WTF?" and a disquieting feeling that I might be responsible for the whole mess. So, on behalf of the BBC, I do apologize profusely.
