Sponsor Logos on Uniforms

YES !!!!
Rules to keep it tasteful.
4 square inches is NOT a 4 x 4 patch...thats a 2 x 2 or 4 x 1 patch.

One on jersey, one on hip of pants, then a glove, wrist band, or helmet logo.
Maximize the exposure during playoff games.
SOLID PLAN !!!
Its adorable that you think it will stop here. Give it time. In 10 years, college football unis will look like stock cars.

I get the sentiment, but at this point, what exactly are we preserving? College football as we knew it is already completely shot to hell. Whether a sponsor is or isnt on the uni changes nothing as far as how I feel about the sport now. You cant get a little bit pregnant.

This. And everyone else will be doing it anyway. Don’t do it, and you’re missing out on NIL. It’s the way it is now, the old days of college sports are dead. The most money gets the best players.

Do much critical thinking son?
Let a boy dream for a minute...

I know that day will come eventually. Companies will gripe 4 square isn’t big enough, schools will complain they aren't getting enough revenue, so patches will get bigger, then more in number, and eventually it will look like a WNBA or Soccer jersey...but im just happy to see its not coming out of the gate that way.

FWIW - sitting in the VFW tonight and my IU buddy flat out asked "How long before Cuban has his name on the jersey?"...LOL

The portal is already changed to once annually. Limit the mobility of coaches, staff, and every other student & employee of the university, or you just want to "save the game" and unfairly single-out athletes? There can be no cap on NIL; the courts are clear on this.

Re: 'stepping in":
1. Congress can grant an anti-trust exemption; I'd rather see college football end than for that to happen. Or give every company an exemption so people wanting to screw players over get screwed themselves. Maybe the light will come on then.
2. Schools and NCAA can stop pretending they're guardians of some holy amateur athletics temple, and collectively bargain. This is what the man you beseech, Danny White, has stated is the right thing to do and past time to do it. This would allow enforceable contracts between all parties involved - players, schools, and NIL entities.
Maybe you can’t put a cap on NIL, but you can Certainly put in guard rails. If you collective bargain, and the players become employees??

Isn't that kind of the point of buying advertisement space...put your name in a.space to keep your competitor out ???

But the Haslams respect the traditions of Tennessee. They paid to keep Neyland Stadium as Neyland Stadium and not Pilot-Neyland Stadium.. or something else..

I mean if someone wants to pay 20 million dollars to not put their name on something and so no one else can, that would be their right..

Yeah most companies would want their name on there..
