Sponsor Logos on Uniforms

It's going to be Pilot Stadium one day. Might as well just accept it.
I'm pretty certain Danny White and the people behind Pilot know the line there and have toed it well.
It's forever (or at least the foreseeable future) going to be "Shields - Watkins field at Neyland Stadium preserved by Pilot"...I think that's how Bob introduced it last year and mike Keith has started a couple of game broadcasts this year as well.

Well, the time has come, boys. They’re officially going to allow sponsors on college football uniforms. The “T Mobile Clemson Tigers powered by Shell” will be taking the field after this short little break brought to you by Chipotle.

Please, please, please……do not let them put sponsor logos on our uniforms. Danny White, I don’t care how much money Pilot promises us. Please make a stand here. Please keep the one little smidge of class college football has left in tact. We don’t need Google powered uniforms. This is opening up the door for our players to look like they’re wearing NASCAR suits.

You guys make enough money. Please turn this down!
I was quite fond of the cougar on Ricky Bobby’s car.

Chico’s Bail Bonds.
Let’s stop clutching our pearls.

I’d suspect the bigger issue here is would your uniform sponsor allow other advertisers on their jersey. Adidas just paid a lot of money, I don’t think they’re going to take kindly to a bunch of other corporations slapping anything on a jersey.

Put the Pilot logo on the back of the helmet and get me another $30 million to operate with.

The portal/NIL madness can be overhauled. I’m expecting a change in the window and/or transfer limits to one time per player, as well as a cap on NIL. But if we let Pilot and Amazon on our uniforms to start, this is just adding more fuel to the fire. College football and college sports in general can be saved, but we’re at a crucial point now where someone needs to step in.
The portal is already changed to once annually. Limit the mobility of coaches, staff, and every other student & employee of the university, or you just want to "save the game" and unfairly single-out athletes? There can be no cap on NIL; the courts are clear on this.

Re: 'stepping in":
1. Congress can grant an anti-trust exemption; I'd rather see college football end than for that to happen. Or give every company an exemption so people wanting to screw players over get screwed themselves. Maybe the light will come on then.
2. Schools and NCAA can stop pretending they're guardians of some holy amateur athletics temple, and collectively bargain. This is what the man you beseech, Danny White, has stated is the right thing to do and past time to do it. This would allow enforceable contracts between all parties involved - players, schools, and NIL entities.

I would not be surprised to see Pilot do somthing like they did on Neyland Statdium. Paid naming rights to leave it at Neyland Stadium. I could see them paying Tennessee for the rights to keep other names off the jerseys. and then not putting Pilot on there..

Just Tweet it at Danny, guaranteed he will read and respond. May have to take a little jab to get the ball rolling.
