Per article on TOS O'brien is all Vol. Doing his best to keep current commits and possibly secure some new ones.

:good!:
Geez I was holding my breath while opening this one. Glad to hear it. It's odd that ive been to nervous to go over to the recruiting forum during all these coaching rumors.

read that as well. wish we could say the same for santos and ncneil.

Danny said he talks to Santos all the time and Santos is excited that they are going to be roommates and huntin' buddies. Santos is all Vol IMO and everything will be better after the recruiting weekend coming up.

In today's climate of big money college football, a recruit would be silly to think that his coaches are going to be there his entire time at the university. They better start picking the right school that fits for them and their families and stop worrying about the coaches so much. I understand their emotions but they are going to need to start looking at it differently. Thank you O'Brien, you will love Knoxville.

As long as their is a good DC hire by the weekend I don't see Santos and McNeil leaving after all they've said.

If Sunseri gets the hire he will keep those guys regardless.

That last I saw of McNeil was that he is coming in this weekend with his mom, and that he is very excited about coming to Knoxville. I believe it was posted in his thread, and this was after CJW and CPS left.

Could be the next Darwin Walker or the next Arthur Jeffrey.....,none of us know
Posted via VolNation Mobile

Jeffrey was injured before he came to UT. Everyone knew the risk. Unless O'Brien blows up his knee in the next two weeks, he and Jeffrey's situation will be nothing alike, regardless how their careers play out.

I knew someone would miss the point. O'Brien could be the next Darwin Walker or the next Chase Nelson. Is that better or are you going to give me Nelson's position changes and injuries too?

TOS (The Other Site) is used on here as a generic acronym and usually refers to GVX but can reference Rivals, 247, or any other site.

According to Volquest, Danny O'Brien has already assumed a leadership role on the team. That's what this team will need this fall.
