However you spell it. Hey WVU fans (and the Legions of Doom), first had the Hall of Famer reached out to Dana he would have jumped in his VW bus and made tracks for Knoxville leaving WV in the rear view. Everyone knows that. Tennessee, coming off a historically bad year and decade, plays game number 1 against what is said to be WV's best team in history with their greatest player in history at QB. Results are predictable for a new team with a new coach. Give it some time for Pruitt to fix what those before him tore up before you start that incredible whining you all do or the WV fan bragging. And if Grier goes down, they can't beat hardly anyone on their schedule. Much as it was for Tennessee when Dobbs was here. We didn't get to prove that as Dobbs never went down. But his absence last year proved that. It would be funny if Grier missed a few games with a simple ankle sprain that would show that. Tennessee will be fine long term. Short term might be rough. But the current coaches did not break it. Now let them fix it.

And thanks Hamilton for ruining the entire athletic program!!

I think he’s saying he’s unsure of how to spell Holgerson and that he is a hall of fame coach. He also appears to insinuate that Tennessee should and could have hired him under the Hamilton regime....... I think

Wow, that is barely comprehensible. I am far from certain that Dana Holgorsen would have been interested in the Tennessee job if Fulmer had offered it to him.

I agree that the results of the game were predicable, it was a bad match up for us.

Of course WV would struggle if their best player went down, few teams would continue to roll if their star quarterback was injured. It remains to be seen if WV will be able to continue their success after Grier leaves.

Hamilton was several years and 3 athletic directors ago, there has been time to fix the damage he did.

Can everyone please forget Hamilton, Kiffin, Dooley, and everyone else they like to blame the current situation on. The more you talk about them the more relevant they become. There are tons of things that could have happened that would have changed the current situation both good and bad. What if Peyton had beaten UF one time, Would he have stayed for the 4th year? What if Fulmer had won the 2001 SECCG? What if Mt Cody does not block that field goal? Point being none of this matters any more and we should get over it all and move on with what we have to do to get back to where we wanna be. ETSU is next and then UTEP, these games should give our guys some confidence and get them ready to break the streak of SEC loses. WV is a good fotball team but no where near the best we will see all year. Grier is a good QB and their receivers exposed freshman DB's but what did you expect to happen? The more we add better players the easier these games become for us. We simply need to win enough for better players to want to come here and hope our current staff can evaluate talent a lot better than the last staff could.
