Tough loss today, but there are some positive things you can take away. Harrington looked pretty good. Two INT's (only one of which was his fault) on 45 attempts is alright... Better than Culpepper. Put it an o-line and re-legitimize Ronnie Brown, you guys have yourself a heck of an offense.

ok. Firstly how do you re-legitimize a player? And secondly....No one more than me wants to sit across a table and ask Saban....ok bud...Why do the Dolphins suck?

I thought Ronnie Brown looked pretty durn good for a while their last season. He was a legit RB and as far as I know hasn't done much this season? I'll look into it, but that's beside the point...

I think Miami got very much overrated coming into this season for a number of reasons...

1. Daunte Culpepper has never looked good without Randy Moss to throw to. He is a sub-par QB without a deep threat. Most people just failed to realize this.

2. People awaiting the fall of the Pats. It means another AFC East team has to step up and look great, right? Nope.

3. The Dolphins managed to reel off a win streak at the end of '05 against generally poor competition... The San Diego win was nice, and then you guys got the Pats in a letdown game on New Years Day.

4. The convergence of all these false pretenses about the Dolphins made them the vogue pick for 2006, and the hype ball started rolling. Most everybody probably knew in the back of their heads that San Diego and Indianapolis would be the AFC teams to beat in '06... But once that hype ball gets rollin', ain't no stoppin' it.

Why is it in hindsight every pats loss is a letdown? Why can't it just be the fish were the better team that day? I hate the Dolphins, they suck from bucket to bar-be-que. But they're my team, even thought the phins front office's arrogance is only outbounded by their ignorance of fielding a competitive team. Ive never in all my life seen a team play under their ability so much as my phins, its almost as if they enjoy being talking head fodder.

It was the last week of the season and I think the Pats already had their playoff spot secured...

Like I said, I think your team was simply the unlucky victim of the unruly hype machine that is ESPN.

The front office is probably comprised of guys from a lazy, arrogant generation.
