From the Chattanooga TFP:

Junior defensive tackle starter Dan Williams is “doubtful” to play in Saturday’s game at South Carolina with an unspecified ankle injury, University of Tennessee coach Phillip Fulmer said Sunday night.

Williams injured his ankle against in a 29-9 loss to second-ranked Alabama.

Fulmer said Williams was injured on a low hit that could have been called a chop block, but he claimed the Crimson Tide lineman had no malicious intent.

Williams’ injury could be another big blow to a defense that primarily rotates three tackles, especially considering senior Walter Fisher — another member of that trio — played sparingly against Alabama while battling turf toe.

It was a garbage block, and this is coming from someone that teaches cut blocking.
