I didn't know where to post this but I find it ironic. The Madden curse thing might have some validity. In the most recent commercial I noticed that Clark is getting flattened by two Eagle players. It is shown over and over on the commercial. And now, he gets injured last night in the game against the Eagles. Weird....

Except for the 2001 cover with Eddie George... I have the 3 last games and they've all been injured right? And I know Shaun Alexander got hurt this year, 2004 was Vick and he broke his leg that year, 2005 was Ray Lewis right? and 2006 was Donovan McNabb, although injury always follows that guy.

I didn't make much sense... heh.

George got hurt too I believe.

The cover killed George's career rather than dealing him a season-ending injury.

Yeah, guess you could call that the start of it... I think Madden 2001 came out during the 2000 season? George had a good year, up until that play you're talking about... after that, Lorenzo Neal left, George battled turf toe and other assorted injuries the rest of his career. He started off rushing for 1000 yards in every season up untilt he 2001 season, then I think he only had one more...

I thought I heard Eddie George had the best year of his career after the game was released...

If the game was released during the 2000 season, he did. Had his only 1500 yard season that year on over 400 carries.

Al Del Greco lost the game, but that's a different thread for a different day.
