Dale Jones Stepping Down at Appy State

Appalachian State: Appalachian State defensive coordinator Dale Jones will not return next season. He has spent the better part of the last 30 years with the Mountaineers and was the defensive coordinator for the last three.

How all these coaching staffs that passed through here never gave him a phone call I'll never understand. Talk about a solid defensive guy and one that loves this university.

I would be happy to have him here in some capacity, analyst, etc.
