When I was a young boy I loved sports and sports memorabilia. I remember going to baseball card shows in the 80’s with only 5 bucks to spend because my family was quite poor. I could never afford the hot cards of that time period like Dwight Gooden, Don Mattingly and Daryl Strawberry. I wanted those things so badly but it wasn’t to be. As I became a teenager I remember thinking how incredible it would be to have an actual game worn jersey…but back then on top of no money I had no clue how to even find one of those jerseys. When my career took off in my adult years I decided that i was going to make up for all these years and years of being told no by my parents when I asked for certain things. So, I hopped on the net and started searching. I’ve been collecting seriously/professionally for the last 15 years full time. My very first bona fide game worn jersey is the one that I’ll attach to this post. Thank you for asking about my past as a collector……
