I think the Hurd/Scott duo could be pretty good once the O-line improves. Add Kamara and Rocky Reid next year and we are stacked.
You're throwing Rocky Reid in there? Dude is a 3 star prospect, 58th best RB in the country. He might end up being a Tauren Poole type, but he's not stepping in here day 1 and running with the big boys. Likely a Tom Smith type.
Butch said the starting OL needs every rep they can get, I agree with him. What was up with Pickett getting so many touches on Saturday? Anyone actually know? I'd have liked to see what Scott could do a little more. I also think on another offensive note, that after we went up 31-3, with the punishment Worley had taken up to that point, you have to pull him at that point and put in Peterman. Also, put in some backup OL (if we have any) to get them some reps. I mean, it couldn't be that much worse than the starters who looked like swiss cheese all game vs. an FCS opponent.
Freshman tailback Derrell Scott was listed second behind freshman Jalen Hurd, and ahead of senior Marlin Lane on Tennessee's official depth chart for Saturday's game at third-ranked Ole Miss. This is interesting, probably because lane is still hurt or Scott is just better.
The kid just broke the North Carolina state single-game rushing record last Friday. "Underrated" is a huge understatement. He plays stiff competition too.
FYI- North Carolina has a reputation for producing good running backs.
EDIT: If you want to talk recruiting numbers, let's look at the fact that Cam Sutton was a 3*, 78th best ATH nationally, 53rd in the state of Georgia. Pretty sure he made an immediate impact and has grown to be one of our most valuable assets.

Cool. You're the 898,982,293,198th person to make that claim, and yet data still supports the idea that star gazing is a better tool of gauging talent than hoping to find coals to turn into diamonds.
