Actually its just that CJP has a better player in mind/ silent commit ready for next week. Good to let these "former commits"" out and save face so hopefully they all will find a good landing spot.

You are still wrong. He was not re-offered by the new staff. This has been the case for about a monthHe wanted to play for Tennessee, but he had lost a lot of weight and had suffered ACL repairs on both knees. There was a lot of discussion that he may have to go to a JC to get into playing shape and to see how his knees held up. The new staff did say they would honor the scholarship and put him on injured but unable to play so he could get his degree, but he decided that he still wanted to try to play football. Don't turn on him for wanting to play football and giving it a try.

OK, I'm wrong despite being right. I'll give this one to you. As per VOLINVONORE, Litaker is still on the Vols roster. And he's right even when he's wrong. Some people's super power is very different. :)

I'm guessing CJP has a bigger fish lined up and asked him to greyshirt or blueshirt or look elsewhere.

As long as we keep Peterson and add about 7 more 4-5*s, we'll be fine!

I would imagine Litaker was asked to look elsewhere, rather than him bolting for another school:)

Everything I have read he was going to need a red shirt year to be 100%. We just don't have that kind of time with our defensive tackles.

I think he will be a baller. We just don't have the time to wait for him to fully recover and that's what's best for him.

It seems short sighted. Take a guy who could be a real contributor in a year or take a development project who won't be here for Spring ball and hope that you can get a few minutes out of him this year and recruit someone better for 2019.

I'm going to give CJP the benefit of the doubt that he isn't on that short of a leash and assume this was a Litaker decision.
