I don't like coaches who, after they get beat, they say, 'Now we'll go back and work on it,' " he said. "I don't know what the [heck] you've been doing. It's time to work hard from the get-go."
I wonder if there's something going on between the two of them. Fulmer's comments about searching for a new OC and being excited about something new and innovative coming to the team made me chuckle. Looks like Cutcliffe was getting old and boring...

gotta love the last few words of this quote:
"Cutcliffe sat between a beaming Duke President Richard Brodhead and a satisfied-looking athletic director Joe Alleva while addressing a crowd that included Duke men's basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski, current and former football players and more than a dozen Duke football fans."
I wonder where they found 12 Duke football fans?
WOW. That looks like a Shot At His Pal without a Doubt. Watch Cut will have success at Duke and in a couple of Years when Fulmer retires Cutty will be back on the Hill.
Honestly, I think people typically read way too much into stuff like this, BUT this quote seems like a direct line about Phil. The verbage is exactly what Phil says.
It may seem like a shot across the bow by Cut....but to me it says a lot about the how the season played out, and makes me wonder if Phil had his nose to grind stone when the team needed him. Was the focus and attention to details really there?
