All I have to say is this, from a CBS article:

" With Cutcliffe calling the plays, Fulmer's teams were 85-19. In the years that Cutcliffe was gone, first at Ole Miss and now at Duke, Tennessee's teams are 65-31 "

Uhh. Yeah. I say thats worthy. We win with him. And he's made Duke a respectable program. I didn't think that was possible.

He's obviously a winner. And people are saying we're losing cause Fulmer can't call offensive plays. Seems logical to me.

personally, I think Cut would be a quick fix and improve the program, but we need a coach who is going to be a fixture here at UT. I wouldn't hate it if Cut came back, but I wouldn't totally agree with it either.

I think the numbers are good and hard to argue against them -- but I think it's safe to say the bulk of the fan base simply wants a significant change and Cut doesn't represent that.

What's Cut's record without CPF?

Name one thing he has won as a HC?

Cut went 44-29 at a piss poor Ole Miss program and had them right there at the top. had one bad year and he was fired and then you saw where they went. He also won 2 Independence bowls and a Cotton Bowl along with a share of the SEC West Title while at Ole Miss

How so? Look at 05. look at 08. Now look at 06 and 07. Yeahhhhhh. He made Crompton look like a god too, against LSU he played well in 06, even played well in the blowout against Ark that year.
What does any of that have to do with you thinking Cutcliffe had more authority than the head coach?

. . . and Crompton most definitely did not look god-like in 2006.
