I don't give a damn if he wins out and beats everyone by 2 TD's I still want him gone. I'm done with him. A six game streak isn't going to make me forget about the past 6-8 years of wasted talent we have put on the field. The decline in intensity, development, and discipline. The hell with cutting slack.

By God, Was their any slack cut when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

he wins, he's here for another year

The Japs bombed Pearl Harbor which brings me to my next point. Kids reading this post don't believe everything people say they might be on crack.

Awesome. We beat Mississippi State and suddenly we're supposed to forget about UCLA? and Florida? and Georgia? and what happened in Tuscaloosa last year?

Agreed. And I hate to say it but I guess 34 points against MSU is also supposed to make us forget about removing a coach. I can hear the headlines now "UT loses close one to Bama. Hamilton says we're improving."

Another one? I'm really hoping it's just because VN mobile lacks a sarcasm detector

the fact you had never heard that tells me you will struggle with some of the jokes around here. Do yourself a favor and find a copy of Animal House. You'll thank me later :)

Haven't seen it in about 12 years, will have to find a copy an stroll down memory lane

The Vols beating a terrible Miss. St. team does nothing for me. Sure, it's nice to see them them actually win a SEC game, but in the grand scheme of things, this season is still a HUGE disappointment.

Huge would be a definite understatement for me. This is just another glowing example of how far this program and our expectations have fallen. We get a win over a terrible Miss St team that we lead 6-3 at half and everyone is giddy. Who are we, Vandy?

I just want to say this! I read this forum day in and day out and rarely ever post, but I have to say that reading this over and over again has finally gotten to me. Don't get me wrong I am with the rest of you as far as thinking there needs to be a change at the HC position, but don't you think we have gotten the point across now? Why can't we just root for the team in bad and good. Look at the great teams of the past they went through times like this and they bounced back and returned to greatness. We will again someday. I am a true Tennessee fan and I am not ever going to cheer for us to lose just because I want a new head coach. Either your a true Tennesse fan or your not. These kids go out and put there future on the line every time they step on that field and least we could do would be support them. This continuing to batter tennessee over and over again almost puts you up there with Alabama fans. Your either with us or against us! Which is it?

I'm glad someone started this thread. I said it yesterday, after the game: "It's Bama Week." The only thing I care about regarding football for the next 6 days is beating the filthy rat bastards to our South.
