Kind of like the coach hires, its obvious when guys are placed in a position they shouldn't get just to be a yes man. Blackburn was obvious and easy choice who has integrity to stand up to bad decisions like this that's why he was never hired! Currie was picked by Haslam. Schiano was picked by Haslam. As long as Haslam is who he is, he's going to be the one pulling the strings. Currie has to take the heat because it's part of the gig, but don't even begin to think he picked Schiano because of professional incompetence.

He may, in fact, be incompetent, but you shouldn't take this hire as evidence of that.
