Has the poo-pooing of sourdough abated?

During the pandemic, multitudinous folks donned their masks to go out and buy the makings for sourdough starter and attempt to bake sourdough bread at home. The uncool factor ramped up almost as quickly as COVID spread. Declarations of preference for other types of bread proliferated.

So, has enough time passed? Is sourdough bread no big deal again?
