All Thangs Pussum and Chad Thread

Franklin is the best known. Very good but you need to be patient.

Black's near campus, Terry Black's is good too. Interesting story about that family.

Blaines catered last game I was down there and it was good. It's less acclaimed than the others.

Lockhart, which is 30 minutes south of Austin, has a really strong BBQ scene too.

I am sure there are others. I only go to Austin a couple of times a year.
Yeah, that line starts at 8:00 am just to have a chance at getting a lunch plate. Which you have to take out a loan for. I know he's the BQQ legend in TX, but I just can't see his prices to borrow that BBQ for maybe 2 hours if your lucky. I think I saw his big combo platter was like over $100 a plate. Maybe $135.

Mauka Honey. Why am I just now finding out about this stuff?
Coming back to this, the reason I said what I did is because for me it's too expensive to use what I use honey for and the quality doesn't make any difference.

I've got about a teaspoon left of an 8.5oz jar that I've had for a year that I just spooned out and ate by itself when in the mood, or thought about it.
