The Bears are still trying to tackle Hardesty.

:eek:lol:

That was actually the first and only Vols game I have every been able to go to. I loved it....I flew down from Boston for the game with a lab mate who was a former Cal student......talk about a good time, especially considering my company!!! He was sick by half-time!

If it wasn't the first, it was the second, third, and fourth, within about 5 minutes or so.

The more Vol fans talk about last year's crushing victory over Cal, the better Cal's chances on Sept. 1st will be. Last year Cal was overrated at the start of the season, this year it will be Tennessee that goes on the road with too much confidence.

So yeah, Meachem really burned that poor freshman cornerback-with-the-cast-on-his-hand Syd'Quan Thompson, TWICE. And poor DeSean Jackson only touched the checkered endzone once during sloptime, and Nate Longshore was yanked in the second half because the score was 35-0 in the third. Last year's Vols spanked last year's Cal team bigtime. C'mon Vol fans, let's hear some more about last year! Make sure you say it loud enough so they can hear you over in Berkeley, California! :peace2:

I'm pretty sure that none of the fans will be on the field in September, so my guess is that how much we talk about it will have absolutely nothing to do with what happens in the game.

They'll hear us when we go to Berkeley. I even bet a couple of Cal fans will be there.

I agree 100%. Vol fans should be more like the Berkeley talking heads, who love to mention how their team just didn't play well in '06, and mention things like their team being "fired up" and divine intervention as reasons the not-so-golden bears will win in '07.

Idk, I mean if all of the sudden, 80+ some odd members of the team, staff and waterboys suddenly got some weird disease, we might get some playing time.

But lets just thank god we're playing Cal. :)

Don't even say it. Not only do I theoretically have all my eligibility left, but now I'm even a UT grad student again. MUST BE TOO DRUNK TO BE PULLED OUT OF THE STANDS TO SUIT UP.
