It's here. Who is ready for a video game economy? I can't wait for the right game to come along. Axie Infinity is just a turn-based pokemon style game and I'm not interested in that, so I'm in wait-and-see mode. Want something open world, high-quality, that's fun with quests and **** like that.

Conceptually, I can think of a few ways to make money in an open world. Grinding to get tokens, completing difficult quests to get rare items that can then be sold, and owning real estate in the open world. People have made $ playing WoW. We even have famous WoW millionaires, but crypto is going to be a game-changer because it completely streamlines all those game economy interactions and makes them trusted.

Yeah, things are about to get wacky in gaming. Especially as VR becomes more mainstream. Older games are rightfully skeptical of Oculus Quest 2 because of its Facebook affiliation but kids aren't, so it's a really hot item right now. I think in 10 years or so, gaming will increasingly move towards VR because "ownership" of in-game items will be far more lucrative in that space. Or even land as you said.

I'd say the race is soon to be, if not already, on for developers to create the first hit MMO in VR.
