Crowd Noise

My ears are still ringing. When we took the lead it was loudest I can ever remeber in 25 years.

Wish I wouldn't have had to work. Buddy of mine said it was loudest he's ever heard. Said no doubt it was louder than OU game and that game hurt my ears. Props to all of you who were there raising hell for our boys. Go Vols!

The Oklahoma game was consistently loud throughout the game. This game had some quieter moments but the crowd rose to the occasion when needed. Some moments were as loud as I have ever heard Neyland.

I had an ear bud in my right ear during the game. Now that I'm home, I can't hear out if my left ear very well.

I was at the Oklahoma, Georgia and FL

Oklahoma was louder obviously but the whole second half we as a whole fan base was screaming our lungs out every play on defense for this game. They're all pretty close but we didn't reach our record today.

As someone who has been at all the games he has mentioned.. this is spot on. From kickoff to the end of the game the OU was much more consistent. The second half to this Fla game was insane though

the crowd noise was around 110 db most of the night. not as loud as oklahoma. i had a decibel meter and it was around 10 db less than the oklahoma game. disappointed in that. but so happpppppy we won!:clapping::rock::dance2::dance2::rock::)

I thought Oklahoma was louder - peak and for the entire game. Crowd really got caught up in the game flow today.

When the onslaught began in the 3rd Quarter, it was the craziest noise I've heard at Neyland in 25 years. Including Oklahoma.

Probably would have been louder if folks hadn't given up and left at halftime

I was hoarse halfway through the first quarter. We were sitting in H, behind the students, but the second half was as loud as I've heard since the Florida or Arkansas games in 1998!!!

Go Vols!!! :loco:

Just got back from the game. I can't compare to OU but in the section I was in perfect strangers were giving high fives, hugging, and screaming together. It was the best game experience I've ever experienced (college or pro). There were so many recruits there that I know were beyond impressed. Just a great day to be a VOL!!!!!

The crowd was electric early but fizzled til the opening of the 3rd quarter and when the guys showed some heart the way they did and got to 10 the crowd started going insane. Once we hit 17 it was the loudest I've heard Neyland in a long time. I thought we were going to rush the field but there was a very large state trooper presence.

I was at the OU game last year as well. While it might have been "louder" it did not compare to this as far as game experience. Just an incredible, jubilant moment tonight.

I had a single ticket. First time I had ever gone to a game by myself. But the most enjoyable time I have ever had at a game. It was literally as if everyone in my surrounding area was one big family. Just can't explain it.

Last year against OU and UGa we peaked around 114 decibels (record) for long stretches and ny ears rang for days after
Tonight we ranged 100-110. It was loud and the fans were really into it, just not quite as loud as last year
