Over the past couple of years, Crompton in my opinion has made some stupid plays whenever he takes off running with the ball. For example, last year I can remeber him trying to run over a DB from Florida instead of sliding or running out of bounds. Does anyone think he has learned yet what a good quarterback is supposed to do when he has to scramble? I for one hope he has. We cant afford for him to make a stupid decision and god forbid get injured.

Surely he has improved in those areas you brought up. I think he is set up for a good year. He better be cause we need him to lead us. But yeah, in the past some very questionable decisions that made me throw my hat and scream!

you will see Cromp rolling out quite a bit if Kiffin sticks to the old USC play calling.

This could scare you. At the Orange and White Game I saw no less than 2 bootlegs and 2 naked bootlegs, or variation on those themes. Actually looked good.

I sure that CLK got Crompton ready to be better QB than he was last year or LK would never have start him. But we will know how Crompton is this saturday and next saturday, to order to know how he would be for rest of the season. Cuase all eyes is on him as well on CLK and the CO.

Did anyone watch the video where Crompton said something to the tune of "the plays we run don't force the quarterback to think." My First thought was... good for him and us.

Until I see him on the field this year... my opinion wont change. He's not the best. I hope he has improved.

He's not great, but he's the best we've got. We can only play with the hand we've been dealt for now.

i played QB at a DII school @ 6'2 227 , roughly same size as JC and i loved to lay my head down and run someone over, and i dont know whawt a "good quarterback" is supose to do, but i did hold a few single season school passing reccords. not the ones for throwing passes to the guys with the other color jerseys either.

JC will be ok this year. im tired of people that havent played the posistion trying to judge the kid, its like some of your are expecting him to fail.

a year older a year wiser. i think some of the pressure may actually be off of him this year, most eyes will be on the coaching staff, the media will be ready to try and break down any play EB isn't picking off, and there is no where for him to go this season but up as far as quality of play.

Crompton was just lucky that it was Joe Haden hitting him and not Major Wright. Otherwise Nick Stephens would have been the starter the rest of the year and would also have given the eulogy at Crompton's funeral.

Good thing Tebow wasn't on the field either. Jeez.
