Crompton to Start vs Vandy

Why? Can someone give me one good reason this puke should start. Makes me think twice about buying tickets.

Only good thing about reading that is that we'll get to see what Coleman does on the field. No way Crompton is gonna be able to manage the whole game.

Hoping to catch Vandy by surprise since they have nothing to play for other than a better bowl?

I think that may be the first time that "Vandy" and "better bowl" have been used in the same sentence.

There's absolutely no reason for him to start, but this is even more evidence that Fulmer has thrown in the towel.

I find it admirable that Coach Fulmer is taking Crompton along with him on his "farewell ride", because there's no way JC sees the field again in a meaningful situation after this season.

I also think Crompton starting = Vandy victory.

"UT flight #3N8 now departing for Nashville".

Enjoy the ride, guys.

Go Vols.

that makes me absolutely sick. even against wyoming at the end of the game i'd rather have stephens in bc he can at least grasp on what needs to be done, and get it to the recievers unlike crompton and his trash stache

i kinda feel the same way. they've gotten to the magical number 6 in the win column. so hopefully with that goal satisfied, they'll be down for this game. i'm not getting my hopes up though.

They've both proved they are worthless...why not let BJ get a chance?? Oh I forgot he isn't inaccurate enough yet. Hopefully he will be soon!!

Same ole crap with Fulmer. When things aren't working, you change stuff. Instead, he keeps running the same garbage out there every week, knowing exactly what's gonna happen.

Did Coleman sleep with Fulmer's daughter?? He seems to have a grudge against the boy...

Apparently he got in trouble for throwing rocks at Wyoming's bus the other week. Crompton and Stephens should have gotten in trouble too as they were throwing them also but Fulmer said he wasn't going to punish them cause they never hit it.

WHY?

Well, at least Vandy became bowl elgible before they played us :)

I think this is more of Stephens' attitude than it is Crompton's ability.

I'm not even worried about Stephens, he is the #3 right now. We know what Crompton and Stephens are going to give us (not much), so let's at least see what Coleman can do for us and get a gauge as to where we're at for next year.

Actually...I wouldn't be shocked if we started punting on 1st or 2nd down this season...

I just wonder who REALLY made the decision...???

Yeah exactly, but I think that makes too much sense for our coaching staff to listen. Personally I think Fulmer is afraid that he would look like the world's biggest idiot if he said all that stuff about BJ not being ready and he went in and lit it up.
